Automotive Performance Tuning is pleased to announce its 2nd Annual Winter Dyno Day Shootout. The event will be held at APTuning in Lebanon, PA, on March 10th, 2007. Dyno runs will go from 10am until approximately 6pm, or whenever all waiting participants are finished. The dyno shootout is open to all front wheel drive Audi & VW vehicles (including R32 and TT as they can be set to FWD to dyno). The special pricing for the day will be $40 for two pulls or $50 for two pulls with air/fuel. All cars will get a printout of their best run.

There will be four classes for the event: Stock Turbo, Aftermarket Turbo, Normally Aspirated and R32.

Prizes for the highest horseposer in each class will receive plaques, a $20 APTuning gift card and $30 cash from DM Magazine. The highest horsepower will be based on the average of the car's two runs. Time slots in 30 minute increments will be available for purchase through the APTuning website (purchase is a $10 non-refundable deposit towards dyno price), which will lock in your desired time. Participants will be taken on a first come first serve basis. Reservations can be purchased HERE.

Also, APTuning will be offering APR chip specials for the day of the event. The special will be purchase one program and get a second program free, or purchase two programs and receive the remaining programs and available options free (excludes anti-theft). As an added bonus to customers getting "chipped" that day, they will get an extra pull on the dyno for a total of three. (ex. One stock pull and two "chipped" pulls).

Issue three is currently in production. Calvin just got back from Hawaii with some great photos and feature stories. Printing will begin in the next couple of weeks, so look for your mag near the end of the month.
